We have just released a great new feature in Stedfast that allows organisations to create visual workflows for all of their procedures. We have also updated CPD recording and reporting functionality too.
Users can, as normal create a procedure in Stedfast. Each procedure can be made up of a number of sections:
Once the sections have been identified, staff who part of this procedure can then add and edit the content for each section:
The new visual feature allows staff to create diagrams showing the procedure flow:
Creating flows is a simple process:
Assessment Plan Findings Update
Following user feedback, we have also made a small change to adding findings on assessment plans. When creating assessment plans we added the functionality for measures to cloned against a number of outcomes. This was a feature that was particularly needed for apprenticeship standards as one measure could be used across a number of outcomes. An example might be a knowledge test covering more than one knowledge outcome.
This previously required users to copy findings to each finding. We have simplified this with a small change when adding findings. Users will now see a checkbox when adding findings – “Add to duplicate measures” – if this is selected it will add the same finding to any measure with the same title.
What else is new?
We have also updated the CPD management module. Users are now able to filter CPD by year. The CPD graphs have also been updated to give clearer total CPD hours per year.
What is Stedfast?
Stedfast is an online portal designed to support schools and colleges with delivery and quality assurance. It is made up of a number of modules:
- Assessment Plans
- Curriculum Plans
- Staff Performance Management
- CPD Management
- Policies and Procedures
- Risk Assessment
With the introduction of OfSTED’s Education Inspection Framework, users will find the assessment and curriculum planning modules hugely supportive in demonstrating curriculum intent, implementation and impact.
Curriculum Endpoint Project
We are currently running a small project to identify how curriculum endpoints are determined, managed and measured. We are looking to work with 5 secondary schools on this project. The schools will receive unlimited free access to Stedfast. If you are interested please register here – Registration Form
If you would like an online demo of Stedfast then please go to our contact page and use the demo booking feature.
